The following is our diary of events for the 2012 season and these will change and be added to depending on invitations from event organisers and group members’ interest.

Our major event as usual this year will be the 3rd Linlithgow Classic Car Day on Sunday 2nd September 2012…we look forward to receiving entries and seeing you all then!

2012 season diary

(1) Linlithgow Farmers Market & road run for lunch – Sat 24/03/12 (09.30 – 12.30) – possible early season opener (subject to weather!)

(2) Linlithgow Farmers Market & road run for lunch – Sat 28/04/12 (meet at 09.30) – normal season opener

(3) Steam in the Park, Scone Aerodrome, Perth – Sat 12/05/12 (10.00-17.00) – free entry by 31/03/12 -event cancelled by organisers this year..sorry!

(4) Linlithgow Farmers Market (meet at 09.30) and then road run & back to Donaldsons School Spring Event (invitation received) – Sat 26/05/11 (14.00 – 16.00)

(5) Thirlestane Castle Motoring Extavaganza, Lauder – Sat 09/06/12 & Sun 10/06/12 (11.00-17.00) – free entry by 30/04/12

(6) Linlithgow Marches Day – Tues 19/06/12 – entry to Cavalcade (09.30 start for judging + Cavalcade at 11.00) – invitation received

(7) Linlithgow Farmers Market & Linlithgow Bridge Gala Day Parade – road run for lunch afterwards – Sat 23/06/11 (meet at 09.30 for Market and 11.00 for Gala Day Parade)

(8) Glamis Castle Classic Extravaganza – Sat 07/07/12 & Sun 08/07/12 (10.00 start)

(9) Bathgate Car & Bike morning – Steel Yard Bathgate – Sat 21/07/12 (0930-1300) – invitation again received this year. A mixture of classic cars, hot rods, and Harleys….a fun morning….see last year’s coverage on home page

(10) Linlithgow Farmers Market & road run for lunch – Sat 28/07/12 (meet at 09.30)

(11) The Ferry Fair, South Queensferry – Sat 11/08/12 – (start c10.00 – lunchtime) – our 5th year of participation by invitation!

(12) Biggar Classic Rally, Biggar – Sun 12/08/12 – (start c10.00 – 17.00)

(13) Linlithgow Farmers Market & road run – Sat 25/08/12 (meet at 09.30)

(15) Bo’ness Hill Climb Revival - Sat 08/09/12 – Sun 09/09/12 – invite to have a stand received – entries welcomed

(16) Linlithgow Farmers Market – Sat 22/09/12 (meet at 09.30)

(17) Last Linlithgow Farmers Market – Sat 27/10/12 (meet at 09.30) & end of season road run and lunch

(18) As always we also hope to arrange a number of visits to car restoration companies and car collections across central Scotland during the season (look out for details)

(19) Finally we managed to arrange a couple of get togethers over the break around Christmas and New Year, in a local hostelry…..Christmas social in Platform 3 on 28th December 2011!
