To start our 2010 season we took a few cars to sunny Winton House near Pencaitland on Friday 16th April to entertain a party of Dutch telecom (kpn) business visitors, as part of their weekend visit to Scotland arranged by HelloScotland! (http://www.helloscotland.com/) and Kingsfield Leisure.  The Dutch gentlemen loved the Ferrari + the Jag but the ladies loved the sports cars….dankuwel..!

1937 Singer Bantam at the Cross - September 2009

One of the last Singer Bantams in the UK had its 1st public outing in many years at the Linlithgow Farmers Market in September.  The car was purchased by one of the group’s members after sitting unused and rotting away in an Edinburgh lock up for a number of years.  When the car was on show a number of older members of the public commented they could remember seeing these cars before World War II.  The picture shows group members showing off this fine old machine. The Boness Hill Climb Revival was held again on the weekend of 11th + 12th September.

Linlithgow Classics has been represented for the past 2 years + once again we had a stand at the event with a collection of around a dozen of our cars. We even won 3rd prize for the Best Stand at the show!!

In May the group were invited to visit Kingsfield Golf Centre in Linlithgow, where a party of Austrian business tourists were partaking in Scottish highland games. As part of their activities Linlithgow Classics showed them round the sights of the town from the cars (http://www.kingsfieldleisure.com/).
