We got out half a dozen cars and Jeeps on the Marches this year in the sun and the warmth.  The guys had a great time entertaining the folk who were packed at the side of the road…..happy Marches!!

Hi All – We’re back in action again for the new season having had our start up day at the Farmers Market on 28th April with a few hardy souls turning out and a very welcome visit from Martin and Julie Ewart in their Bentley.

This was followed by our 26th May Farmers Market, road run and lunch at the Torphichen Inn and a visit to Donaldson’s School’s Spring Fayre to join and support  the JockMogs….an excellent sunny and warm day.

We’re receiving entries all the time for our forthcoming Classic Car Day on 2nd September this year…..so keep them coming and see you then!

We took a number of cars over the hills to Bathgate Steelyard recently on 30th July to support Enterprising Bathgate in their new local event and you can follow some of the detail courtesey of Alastair’s clip.

We were joined by the XMembers rods and custom cars – http://www.xmembers.co.uk (see pics http://www.badgersb.com/galleries/bathgate%20custom%20show2011/bathgate.html) and the Dunedin chapter of the Harleys and a great morning was had by all…..including those who were interviewed by Radio Grapevine!

We were out in force at the Marches where we had a number of cars out in the procession…..Austin Healey, Sunbeam Talbot, Austin 7 Van, Morgan Sports, Rover, and Jeep.

You need full gear to survive Marches Day…….Joe and the Jeep all set to go!

1937 Singer Bantam at the Cross - September 2009

One of the last Singer Bantams in the UK had its 1st public outing in many years at the Linlithgow Farmers Market in September.  The car was purchased by one of the group’s members after sitting unused and rotting away in an Edinburgh lock up for a number of years.  When the car was on show a number of older members of the public commented they could remember seeing these cars before World War II.  The picture shows group members showing off this fine old machine. The Marches Day Decorated Float 3rd Prize - Dave, David + Ronnie

 On the 1st time of entering the group put three cars into the Marches Cavalcade ‘decorated float’ class and won 3rd prize.  The picture shows the drivers in front of the 1954 Sunbeam Talbot and the Healey 3000, with the prize just getting ready to go……….!
