Welcome to season 2017.
As usual this season the date of our regular monthly meeting between April and September/October will be on the 4th Saturday morning of the month at Linlithgow Cross. We’re returning to where we started from 11 years ago.
The diary of events (subject to review and update) is set out below.
(1) Saturday 22/04/17 – Meeting at Linlithgow Cross. 0945-1300. Season start up and drive out day. A good start to the season on a dull cool Saturday with 17 cars…and lunch locally in the 4 Marys.

(2) Saturday 06/05/17 – Winchburgh Classic Car Show at the Tally ho’ Hotel. 1000-1400. All welcome. A sucessful new local event in the sun. Well done Jim and the guys.

(3) Saturday 13/05/17 – Ferraris drive through to Knockhill. Viewing at Dakota Hotel, Sth Queensferry 0800-0900.
(4) Sunday 14/05/17 – Stirling & District Car Club show at Bridge of Allan (entries by 15/04/17 to show@sdccc.co.uk).
(5) Saturday 20/05/17 – Leuchars Performance Portfolio suprcar and classic car event. Leuchars airfield. 0900-1000 start.

(6) Saturday 26/05/17 – 2nd monthly meeting and road run to lunch. 19 cars so we’re being consistent with good turn outs.
(7) Sunday 04/06/17 – Thirlestane Castle Historic Motoring Extravaganza (entries by 16/04/16 to entries@bvac.org.uk).
(8) Thursday 08/06/16 – ‘Event in the Tent’ beer festival. Beer & chat evening – Linlithgow (to be confirmed).
(9) Sunday 11/06/17 – Tayside Classic at Errol Airfield (entries by 13/05/17 to jimary.mcleod9x@tinyworld.co.uk) . Cancelled due to bad weather
(10) Tuesday 13/06/16 – Linlithgow Marches Procession – defending the Best Local Entry Gazette Cup won last 2 years!
A prize three years in a row is not at all bad!
(11) Sunday 18/06/17 – SRPS Classic Rally Boness (entries to office@srps.org.uk).
(12) Saturday 24/06/17 – 3rd monthly meeting and road run to lunch. Good turn out with 19 cars – and good weather.

(14) Saturday 22/07/17 – 4th monthly meeting and road run to lunch. A great turnout of 15 cars on a very damp morning.
(15) Saturday 12/08/17 – Ferry Fair Cavalcade, South Queensferry – time: 1030-12noon (annual invitation received) – a good turn out again with 10 cars in the procession.

(16) Sunday 13/08/17 – Biggar Rally – major classic show in the field outside Biggar…definitely worth attending (entries by 05/06/17 to helenc@biggar-albion.org.uk).
(17) Saturday 19/08/17 – Morris Leslie Auction. Errol Airfield.
(18) Saturday 26/08/17 – 5th monthly meeting and road run to lunch and dry-run for the big day tomorrow!
(19) Sunday 27/08/17 – 8th Linlithgow Classic Car Day…..our BIG event!
(20) Saturday/Sunday 02-03/09/17 – Boness Hill Climb Revival weekend.
(21) Saturday 23/09/17 – 6th monthly meeting.
(22) Sunday 24/09/17 – Hopetoun House Classic Car Show (invitation received).
(23) Saturday 28/10/17 – 7th monthly meeting and road run to lunch – last scheduled season meeting subject to weather.
